Surveillance film reveals Kettering robbery suspect

Police are investigating a bar burglary and are hoping you can help identify the suspect based on new surveillance video.

The Phone Booth Lounge at 1554 E. Stroop Rd. in Kettering was broken into early Wednesday morning, resulting in several coin-operated machines being damaged and expensive liquor being looted. According to Kettering Police, the suspect is a black male, heavy set, in his late-20s/early-30s, with a shaved head.

An employee discovered that the business had been forcibly entered upon arriving for work that morning. Officers couldn’t estimate how much money was taken but say the suspect broke into their ATM, a change machine, and the bar’s digital jukebox.

Additional details have not yet been released. If you recognize the suspect, contact the Kettering Police Department at (937) 296-2564.
