SWAT team clears scene, man arrested on meth charge in Warren County

UPDATE @ 11 p.m.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at a home Tuesday evening in the 200 block of West Lytle-Five Points Road on a drug charge.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office had a SWAT team blocking the street, which arrived at 5 p.m. and was on scene for about an hour.

The sheriff’s office said they were on scene on a warrant service. Although they did not identify who they sought, David Leon Collins Jr. was arrested at 6 p.m. and booked at 7:32 p.m. in to the Warren County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, online jail records show.

He is being held on a $25,000 bond and is awaiting arraignment set for  Thursday.

UPDATE @ 7:30 p.m.

A SWAT team is no longer in the 200 block of West Lytle-Five Points Road.

The tactical team responded at 5 p.m. for an arrest warrant service at the address in Clearcreek Twp., but it’s not clear whether anyone was arrested.

Residents reported hearing booms and shouting during the incident.

We are working to find out more about the incident, and will update this report.

A SWAT team is on scene in the 200 block of East Lytle-Five Points Road.

The tactical team responded at 5 p.m. for an arrest warrant service at the address in Clearcreek Twp., according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Lytle-Five Points Road is blocked in the area.
