Perry Twp. man indicted after Thanksgiving bust yields stolen gun, drugs in Moraine

A 44-year-old Perry Twp. man was summoned to appear in court for his arraignment Jan. 14 after he was indicted following a Thanksgiving morning drug bust.

A stolen gun and “a substantial amount of marijuana” were seized as part of a Nov. 28 Moraine police investigation into a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of Dryden Road.

Kiff Rico Lamont Bailey Sr. was indicted Monday for possession of cocaine and two weapons charges, all felony counts, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

FIRST REPORT (Nov. 28)

A stolen gun and “a substantial amount of marijuana” were seized as part of a police investigation into a suspicious vehicle.

Moraine officers on patrol Thanksgiving morning spotted the vehicle in the 2100 block of Dryden Road; their investigation led to the confiscation of the gun and pot, the Moraine Police Department posted to its Facebook page.

One person was arrested in connection to the investigation.

While police did not identify the suspect, Montgomery County Jail records show that Kiff Bailey Sr., 44, was arrested Thursday morning on Dryden Road and was booked on suspicion of drug and weapons charges.
