Thief steals more than $1,200 in lotto tickets from Dayton store

A thief made off with more than $1,200 in lottery tickets from the Community Food Mart.

Dayton police responded around 9:45 p.m. Thursday to the convenience store, 1130 Linden Ave., in a shoplifting complaint.

There were 250 Ohio lottery tickets valued at $1,250 that were taken, according to a Dayton police report.

There was no information available about any suspects, and no arrests were made.
