While there was plenty of law enforcement activity to see this morning at a New Miami residence, it wasn’t actually a serious situation.
Three Butler County Sheriff’s Office cruisers were parked in the yard of a residence in the 400 block of U.S. 127 from about 8:30 a.m. to shortly after noon.
Sgt. Kim Peters said K-9 units were training at the vacant residence. There was also a traffic stop by a New Miami police officer across from the residence and a vehicle was towed away. No details are available about the reason for the traffic stop.
