When police knocked on the apartment door about 2:20 p.m., the officer reports a woman answered and he was overwhelmed by the smell of burnt marijuana from the apartment. During the arrests, police found suspected heroin and cocaine, a stolen, loaded Ruger 9mm hand gun and other items that led the officers to believe that trafficking was occurring.
There were many children in the apartment. They were released to their aunt.
The woman, Ashley Williams, 25, was arrested on two warrants. One of the warrants was from Sugarcreek Police Department for possession of criminal tools, the other from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, where she is facing a larceny charge. Additional charges were added, including child endangering and possession of drugs.
Damion Raglin, 19, was arrested and booked into jail on the traffic warrant and an additional charge of possession of drugs.
