VIDEO: Middletown police are looking for this robbery suspect. Can you help?

Middletown police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a January store theft that turned into a robbery.

“We are looking to identify this person wanted for questioning regarding a robbery at Family Dollar on Breiel. If you think you may know who this person is, send us a private message or contact Criminal Investigations at 425-7724,” the department posted Wednesday on social media.

In the short store video, a man is seen leaving the store at 515 South Breiel on Jan. 25, with a shopping basket.

According to the police report, the crime rises to the level of robbery because the suspect dragged an employee when he tried to stop the shop lifting. The employee suffered minor injuries

Taken from the store was rubbing alcohol and an electronic item.

The suspect is described as a white male, pale complexion, 5 feet 11 inches tall. He got into a blue older model pickup truck.
