Wayne parents called over comment about gun

An 18-year-old Wayne High School student was removed from school Wednesday after another student said they heard the male make a disturbing comment.

A student went to a school administrator after hearing the male student make a comment about a gun, according to Huber Heights City Schools Superintendent Susan Gunnell.

"We're pleased the student was alert and knew what to do," said Gunnell.

The male student was removed from the school and the Huber Heights police department will review the incident, according to Gunnell. A call was placed to parents.
