A witness told police the car drove off of the roadway on Park Road and into the yard of a church in the 200 block of Snyder Street. The car then allegedly came back onto Park Road where it crashed into a bush, the report says, and then into another car before crashing into a utility pole.
Another witness told police she allegedly saw Rollins earlier passed out behind the wheel at North Street and Western Avenue near the traffic signal. When she woke up, Rollins allegedly drove away at a high speed, the police report says.

A search by the Springfield Police Division’s K-9 unit indicated drugs were in the car, police said. Officers allegedly found meth, crack cocaine, marijuana and a smoking device that contained an unknown brown substance, according to the police report.
Both Rollins and the child were transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and released. The child was placed with a family member.
Rollins is expected to appear in court on Aug. 22, according to court records.
