28-year-old Tia Stewart could be charged with felonious assault and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
According to a police report, the couple was arguing about "typical" stuff when Stewart grabbed an unknown sharp object off of a table and struck at the victim, also 28 years old.
He suffered a non-life-threatening puncture wound and was treated at Miami Valley Hospital.
Stewart told police she didn't stab him. "I grabbed something off the table and hit him on the arm," she said, according to the report.
