11-year-old boy reports man attacked, pulled his pants down

Dayton police are searching for a suspect after an 11-year-old boy reported he was attacked by a man in the Rosemont Boulevard and Wayne Avenue area on Thursday.

The victim reported the male suspect pushed him off his bicycle, told him to “get down” and before pulling down his pants and underwear.

The victim reported he ran home after a van pulled up and the door started to open.

Later, the suspect showed up at the victim’s home where he knocked and banged on the door and jiggled the door handle, according to a Dayton police incident report.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall male with a medium or large build. He wore a black jacket, red shirt and black or dark blue pants. The suspect wore a black or blue dreadlocks and had dreadlocks.
