Area real estate agents have told the Dayton Daily News the record median home prices reached in 2018 will slow down later this year for some area counties, including Montgomery, Greene and Miami. More inventory in those counties and more room to expand bring prices down compared to counties south of Montgomery.
But inventory is still low in parts of the Miami Valley. The number of home listings submitted in February decreased over 7 percent to 1,340 entries, Dayton Realtors said. Year-to-date listings are down 4.5 percent from the same two months last year.
