Decision Delayed In Possible Charges In Toddler’s Death

Prosecutors in Clermont County have delayed making a decision on whether to charge a mother after her daughter died in the family’s hot SUV.

A decision was expected Thursday but officials said they have not completed their investigation. Cecilia Slaby, 2, died last week after she was left inside her mother’s hot SUV for eight hours.

The vehicle was parked at a middle school where Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby is an assistant principal.

At this time, there is no word on when an announcement on possible charges will be made.
