According to neighbors, they heard one loud explosion followed by several smaller explosions. They also reported smelling natural gas.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the flames under control in about 15 minutes. They said people who lived in neighboring homes were evacuated, but they have since been allowed to return.
Fire officials said no one was inside the dental office at the time of the explosion. They said the house belonged to a retired dentist who was not working today.
Emergency crews said the converted dental office suffered extensive damage in the explosion. Firefighters said they found debris from the house all over the yard and street.
According to fire officials, neighbors reported smelling natural gas earlier in the day but they were not able to locate anything.
Huber Heights Fire Chief Scott Hall said, "We have had reports of natural gas odors in the area. We have yet to determine where it is coming from."
Fire officials said damage to the structure is estimated at $190,000.
