Two people had been arguing, when one of them pulled out a firearm and shot at the victim several times as the victim tried to flee, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation, and deputies did not identify the suspect or say whether anyone had been arrested.
