While deputies were responding, they said Brewer continued to call 911 and was abusive and threatening to the operators who took her calls. As her behavior escalated, officials said it became apparent that Brewer was calling from local bar and that she sounded intoxicated.
Upon arriving at the Park Layne address where the assault was reportedly taking place, deputies found no crime in progress and no incident of domestic violence. They learned that Brewer was at Club Sahari and that she had also been calling her daughter repeatedly throughout the evening. The deputies were advised the Brewer was intoxicated.
Deputies found Brewer at the bar and when she refused to speak with them regarding the incident, she was placed under arrest.
Authorities said Brewer became combative and had to be physically removed from the bar and placed into a cruiser.
Brewer was charged with prohibited conduct involving 911, disrupting public services, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
After she arrived at the Clark County Jail, Brewer was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
