The central bedroom on the second floor was the only room that sustained heavy damages from the fire, estimated at $2,000, according to the Dayton police report.
Shortly after firefighters extinguished the flames, an investigator found evidence that an accelerant had been poured onto the carpet and it is believed that is where the fire started, according to the report.
There were no suspects at the time the report was filed.
