First Wayfair store now open -- and with big discounts

The first Wayfair store, which offers furniture and home decor at a discount, is now officially open.

The store at 5101 Renegade Way in Florence, Kentucky is open Friday through Sunday, according to a company spokeswoman. The store was previously opened on the weekends in December for a sneak peek of the coming store.

Hours for the store include Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The outlet store will sell closeouts and furniture that was returned but is in good condition, according to Wayfair’s website.

The previously strictly e-commerce retailer has 13.9 million active customers and more than 10,900 employees.
