I am sick and tired of The Journal printing articles from Clarence Page, (such as) July 23's "The two faces of the Tea Party." Let's put the two faces of the NAACP in The Journal as well. Let's get some conservative commentaries as well. (I didn't like) The article by Leonard Pitts July 23 where he supports the building of a mosque near Ground Zero. What's the matter with you? Clean up your newspaper. Put some conservative ideas in there as well as your liberal trash.
When the government gave General Motors and Chrysler their bailouts, they closed so many dealerships and factories. The one new factory that GM built is a 3 million square-foot factory in Canada. That's what we call "globalization of the economy." When they get our economy down on the same level of Mexico and these other countries, then we won't have to worry about Arizona's immigration law. They will all be trying to go back to Mexico.
In regard to our new councilman involved in a scuffle: Middletown is in a mess financially. Our town really doesn't have a good name and now we have a council member who is acting so unprofessionally. That's another bad mark against Middletown. I am really disappointed. I hope that we choose our council people correctly. ... I thought it was great that we had young people on the council, but I guess I was wrong.
