Family members posted on Hamblin’s Facebook page today that he graduated with an associate’s in science degree in December from Ohio University and was continuing his studies to graduate next spring with his bachelor’s in urban planning and sustainability. He was listed as a student on the Ohio University website.
“Cody was a devoted family man who loved being outdoors, fishing, riding his dirt bike, hiking, playing sports and making wonderful memories. We lost a person who is much loved and brought joy to the many lives he impacted,” the Facebook post reads.
Funeral visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the SouthBrook Church, 9095 Washington Church Road in Miamisburg, followed by the funeral at 5 p.m. A reception is at 6 p.m. at the Miamisburg Moose 2110 E. Central Ave., in Miamisburg, according to the social media post.
