In the wake of Sunday's hurricane-force winds, they've seen people making dozens of trips to unload tree limbs.
They're hoping the weekend hours will help people clean up their yards and neighborhoods. However, do not bring large tree trunks.
Officials at the site are seeing about 1600 cars per day. On Monday, they had as much yard waste dropped off as they normally handle in three months.
In 2007, Greene County took in a total of 55,000 cubic yards of debris. Over 20,000 cubic yards have been dropped off just so far this week.
They are currently stockpiling the debris and will work on grinding and disposing of it later.
