Heroin, $4,600 in cash found during drug search

Dec. 12

Members of the Special Operations Unit and uniformed police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Young Street. Officers discovered drug paraphernalia, $840 in cash, marijuana residue and miscellaneous documents. Robie Hill, 39, of Middletown, was charged with drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 19

Members of the Special Operations Unit and uniformed police executed a narcotics search warrant in the 4800 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Officers found $4,606 in cash, cell phone, numerous empty gel caps, torn baggies, grinder and small amount of heroin. Donnie Suber-Brown, 23, of Middletown, was charged with drug abuse/heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and window tint violation.

Jan. 6

A golden doodle dog was stolen from a back yard of a residence in the 200 block of Santa Fe Road. The woman said her other dog, a cattle mix, was slightly injured. The missing dog is described as having medium length, wavy beige hair.

Jan. 10

Police were called to the area of Grand Avenue and Marshall Road in reference to an injured raccoon. The animal was captured, shot by an officer and disposed in the city dump.

Several items, including a muzzle loader, and two bowling balls were stolen out of a vehicle in the 3200 block of Roslyn Drive.

A woman who was staying at Garden Manor, 6898 Hamilton-Middletown Road, said her wallet was stolen and it contained $231 in cash and insurance cards.

A cab driver said a woman he gave a ride to refused to pay the $79.43 fare from Franklin to Middletown with several stops. The woman said a man was supposed to meet her there to pay for the fare. The cab driver agreed to let the woman pay the fare when she received her social security check.

A $150 Diehard battery was stolen out of a vehicle that was parked in the 2200 block of Queen Avenue. Wires also were cut out of the vehicle.

A man who lives in the 1600 block of Columbia Avenue heard his front door shut and when he got out of bed he realized $200 was stolen out of the kitchen.

A woman who was moving out of an apartment in the 1200 block of Jackson Lane said someone entered her residence and stole two end tables, two lamps and a coffee table, all owned by Rent-A-Center.

Jan. 11

A University of Kentucky knife was stolen out of a van that was parked in the Middletown YMCA parking lot. The surveillance camera showed a male entering the van, then leaving through the alley behind Cincinnati State Middletown. Police were unable to find the suspect.
