Hillary Clinton to be in Ohio Monday

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will be in Ohio Monday, appearing at public events and urging people to vote early.

The Ohio Democratic Party is holding the two events, where Clinton will also discuss her economic plan.

At 2:45 p.m. she'll be near Cleveland at Kent State University's Student Recreation and Wellness Center, 1550 Ted Boyd Ave, Kent. Doors open at 12:15 p.m. and the public can RSVP here.

Clinton will be in Cincinnati at 6:15 p.m. at Smale Riverfront Park, 100 Ted Berry Way. Doors open at 3:45 p.m. Those wishing to attend should RSVP here.

It is Clinton’s first visit to Ohio since Friday’s bombshell announcement by FBI Director James Comey that emails have surfaced in another investigation that could be pertinent to the FBI’s closed investigation of Clinton’s private email server.

The FBI announced in July that that she had committed no crime but that she and her staff had been extremely careless in handling sensitive government emails when she was U.S. Secretary of State.

On Friday Comey alerted Congress to the new emails and said they would be reviewed. He said the FBI could not “yet assess whether or not this material may be significant” nor how long it would take to complete the review.

His letter to Congress, sent less than two weeks before Election Day, set off a flurry of criticism and calls from Clinton to release what he is looking into. Republican nominee Donald Trump praised the decision to review the emails.
