Humane Society discounts cat adoptions through July

Animal Friends Humane Society is offering discounted adoption rates for cats and kittens beginning now and running through the end of July, in early support of Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month in June.

Cat and kitten adoptions will start at $10 — which includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, feline leukemia testing, and a free bag of cat or kitten food. The adoption also includes 30 days of free pet health insurance provided by 24 PetWatch Pet Insurance. All adoption policies and match-making procedures will remain in effect.

The humane society also offers Feral Cat Spay/Neuter services to residents of Butler County for $25, which includes a rabies vaccination. A feral cat is one that cannot be handled by humans and must be trapped to be brought in. Appointments can be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays.

The humane society is located at 1820 Princeton Road, Hamilton.
