The new restaurant serves a variety of bowls, featuring hibachi-grilled chicken, shrimp, steak and vegetables; Poke Bowls, including a Hawaiian Classic and Salmon Lover; soups and salads; and boba tea, according to the new restaurant's web site. Tokyo Grill Sushi & Hibachi Buffet is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

The Washington Twp. restaurant has no connection to Tokyo Japanese Grill & Sushi, located at 4431 Feedwire Road in the Sugarcreek Crossing center across from Cornerstone of Centerville, owners of both restaurants have said.

The former Rue Dumaine, at 1061 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Washington Twp., closed in July 2017 after a decade-long run. The restaurant changed its name to Bar Dumaine shortly before shutting down.

In 2008, the James Beard Foundation named Rue Dumaine a semifinalist for the foundation’s “Best New Restaurant” in the nation. And for six consecutive years from 2011 through 2016, the Beard foundation named Chef and co-owner Anne Kearney a semifinalist for its “Best Chefs in America” competition for the Great Lakes region.

Kearney is now executive chef of Oak & Ola restaurant, which opened earlier this year in Tampa, Florida.
