Killed in the I-75 accident were Bridget Sizemore, 34, of Troy, and Robert G. Oliver, 27, of Trotwood, authorities said.
In the first wreck, a man and woman were killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Ohio 741 near Cox Arboretum early Sunday morning, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers.
Emergency responders were called to the crash around 12:40 a.m.
The two deceased victims were in a silver Chevrolet Malibu that crossed several lanes of traffic while traveling south on Ohio 741, striking a Dodge Durango driving north, OHP Lt. Mark Nichols said. Nichols said it is unknown why the Malibu would have crossed to the other side of the road.
The male driver of the Durango was injured and transported to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Nichols said.
In the second fatal accident, two people were killed in a crash while traveling south on I-75 about 3:30 p.m.
Moraine police said the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a roadside pole. Police said an adult female was killed, along with a man. Both were passengers, according to police.
The driver, an adult female, was taken to Kettering Medical Center and police said she was listed in serious condition on Sunday.
The crash happened near the Dryden Road exit, just south of Kaplan College. Moraine police Sgt. Keith Leach said its unclear why the vehicle, an Oldsmobile Alero, left the road. There were no outward signs of speed or alcohol.
