Large Banner To Help Public Know Businesses Are Open

Workers in the village of West Milton strung a large banner across Route 48 Monday morning at the south end of the town.

The banner lets motorists know that downtown businesses are open. The two-block area of downtown is under a $750,000 renovation that is hurting business for the merchants.

The banner is asking the public for their business during the period of construction. The project is expected to be completed at the end of October.
