Last Of 3 Sentenced In Home Invasion

The last of three men who were arrested in connection with a home invasion last summer in Fort Loramie and a grocery store hold up in Sidney is now headed to prison.

Armando Mendoza, 31, of Los Angeles, appeared in Shelby County Commons Pleas Court and was sentenced to 19 years in prison on two counts of aggravated robbery.

Mendoza apologized to his victims prior to being sentenced.

Deputies in Shelby County said that Mendoza was the gunman in both robberies. Recently, one of the other co-defendants was sentenced to four years in prison.

A third defendant was placed on probation instead of prison for his involvement.
