Career Center students compete in state contest

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Diesel Power Technology students competed in the FFA State Outdoor Power and Equipment Career Development Event (CDE) at The Ohio State University Campus in Wooster on April 25.

Three students, Zane Brehm, Cody Hollinger, and Nate Bridges, placed seventh in the state.

The Outdoor Power and Equipment CDE is set up with 10 to 15 stations which test the students’ skills and troubleshooting abilities. The team has 10 minutes at each station and also must complete a 20 question written test.
