Payroll Project: West Carrollton’s highest-paid employees

Payroll for local government employees comes from your money. So the I-Team is marking national Sunshine Week this year by giving you information on how your tax dollars are being spent.

Last year, the I-Team performed an exhaustive analysis of local payroll and created a searchable database of 2014 pay for governments across our region, including all employees who made more than $50,000 in gross pay.

Using Ohio's public records laws, we are updating that database with 2015 numbers, most recently brining you the cities of Dayton, Springboro and Bellbrook.

Go here for a searchable database of West Carrollton employees whose gross pay was at least $50,000 last year. The five highest-paid city of West Carrollton employees last year were:

1. City Manager Bradley Townsend: $118,624

2. Police Chief Douglas Woodard: $96,298

3. Police Officer Michael Hanks: $95,903

4. Police Officer Maureen Flaute: $95,408

5. Planning Director Gregory Gaines: $94,785
