Both floors have renovated 24 patient hospital rooms, according to the VA.
Among other changes, sinks have motion sensor faucets to reduce the risk of infection. The rooms also have a pull-out sofa and lounge chair for visitors.
Computers were installed in each room for easy access to medical documentation, according to the VA.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Tuesday.
