Mark Cucuzzella of Shepardstown, WV, finished first among the men in the full marathon; it was his second career win in the event after his first place finish in the Air Force Marathon 5 years ago. In total, Cucuzzella has run in 10 of the 15 annual Air Force Marathons, only missing the event when he was stationed overseas.
Sarah Thomas of Fairview Heights, IL, finished first among the women in her second career completion of a full marathon.
