The Montgomery Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hosting a clean-up of the Stillwater River on June 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The annual clean-up has removes trash from the river and the banks to be recycled or disposed of correctly. Every year, volunteers convene with business and agency partners, such as Fiver Rivers MetroParks and Rivers Unlimited, to help keep the river clean.

Volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toe and thick soled shoes.

Registration is required to participate.

If the event is rained out, the reschedule date is June 9.
