Christine Pierce-McCoy, 46, of Arcanum, was traveling northwest around 11:45 p.m. June 22 in the 2600 block of Ohio 503, when she failed to negotiate a curve. She went off the right side of the road and over-corrected, causing her vehicle to overturn, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Pierce-McCoy was pronounced dead Sunday at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said they are continuing to investigate the crash.
