Argument ends with gunfire, two killed in Richmond shooting

Richmond, Indiana police are investigating after two people were reportedly shot and killed following an argument Friday night.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Richmond Avenue around 11:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting, according to a release from the department's Facebook page.

Upon arriving at the scene, investigators found Bishop Oliver and Shawn Sams lying on the front porch with fatal gunshot wounds.

Police said a third person shooting victim, Chris Crawley, was also found at the scene with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The ages and home addresses of all three victims were not revealed.

According to the release, investigators determined the two fatal shooting victims had been involved in an argument that ended in gunfire.
