Sidney police arrested a man suspected of selling heroin to a man who died of an overdose.
Police said a 31-year-old man was found deceased Feb. 23 in the 300 block of New Street. Evidence inside the residence revealed the suspected identity of the person who sold the heroin to the deceased, according to a release.
Thomas McMahon, 31, was arrested after a search warrant was executed Friday morning in the 600 block of N. Main Avenue in Sidney. McMahon was charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony. He was taken to the Shelby County Jail.
