1 arrested after police say he pointed shotgun at another person

Police arrested a man accused of pointing a shotgun at another man at Wilmington and Nordale avenues on Monday night, a Dayton sergeant said.

The man, whose name was not released, was to be booked into the Montgomery County Jail pending a charge of aggravated menacing. Police are still working to determine what led to the incident that was reported just after 11 p.m., the sergeant said.

The victim called 911 and several police officers were dispatched on what was described as a weapons complaint. No shots were fired and no one was injured.

Police recovered the weapon and seized a large pickup truck the suspect had been driving, the sergeant said.
