Bond set at $1 million for trio accused of deadly shooting in Dayton

Bond was set at $1 million three people accused of killing a Dayton man on Newport Avenue in last June, according to Montgomery County court records.

Carlos Blanton, 20, Tylin Watson, 19, and Kalesha Whitner, 23, are accused of killing 27-year-old Tevin K. Million Sr. the morning of June 11, 2018.

Million was robbed and shot multiple times, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

The trio are facing murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, discharge of firearm on or near prohibited premises, tampering with evidence and grant theft of a firearm charges.

Blanton and Whitner were also charged with having weapons while under disability.

Whitner and Watson were arraigned in court in August. Both remain in custody at the Montgomery County Jail.

An arrest warrant was issued for Blanton when he was indicted in August and he is still at large according to court and jail booking records.
