‘Bowls of Hope’ benefit Feb. 27

The Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will host Bowls of Hope — a soup dinner benefit for the Dayton International Peace Museum and the Dayton FoodBank at 6 p.m. Feb. 27.

Co-sponsored by the Fellowship and the Dayton International Peace Museum, attendees will pick out a pottery bowl handmade by a local artisan and select from a variety of soups, including vegetarian, donated by some of Dayton’s best restaurants: Cafe Monet, C’est Tout Bistro, Coco’s Bistro, Flavors Restaurant, The Meadowlark Restaurant, One Lincoln Park, Savona Ristorante and Thai 9. Specialty breads will be donated by Boosalis Baking Company and Rahn’s Artisan Breads. Desserts will be provided by Reeve’s Catering and Sisters’ Catering.

Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance. Cost for children younger than 10 is $10 without bowl. The event is at the UU Fellowship, 8690 Yankee St. in Centerville.
