The boy told police he was near Granada Street and Ridge Boulevard on Tuesday when two men in a red vehicle drove up to him and offered him money or candy.
The boy told police he rode his bicycle into a nearby driveway and acted as though he lived there. The men drove away, investigators said.
The boy described the driver as an about 40-year-old black male with a beard, investigators said. The second man was described as an about 30-year-old was white male with medium length brown hair.
Police searched the area, but did not find the vehicle.
