Free QuickBooks seminar March 8

The Warren County Small Business Development Center and BizFlo LLC are sponsoring a free seminar “Introduction to QuickBooks” on March 8 from 9-11:30 a.m. The seminar will be held at the Atrium Medical Center-Professional Building, Fifth Floor, Room 5 A-B, One Medical Center Drive, Middletown. There is free parking in Lots C and D; Building Entrance #2.

Topics to be discussed include: Selecting a Version of QuickBooks for your business, Why it is important for QuickBooks to be set up correctly, Navigation around the different functions of QuickBooks, How to get additional training one-on-one or Online, and much more.

WAYENESVILLE

Public works superintendent needed

The village is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Public Works Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operation of the water system, roads, and storm water and supervises the work crews. The individual will assist the village manager in long-range maintenance and planning of the village’s infrastructure, including the annual capital Improvement plan. Requirements include: a minimum Ohio EPA Class I Water License, valid driver’s license, CDL preferred, and considerable knowledge of street and storm sewer maintenance and repairs. Property maintenance hotline available

Germantown residents can report property maintenance violations via the City of Germantown Zoning and Property Maintenance Hotline is 937-428-1622.

Violations can include: weeds and long grass, trash and debris, unlicensed vehicles, nuisance illegally parked recreation vehicles, and peeling paint

You will need to leave the address of the property in question and report the violation present.

You are not required to leave your name.

Coffee with council upcoming

Germantown will soon be holding Coffee with Council sessions. This is an opportunity for community residents to meet with council members in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss the issues that matter most in your city. Citizen input is appreciated on any city-related topic.

These upcoming sessions will be held at the Germantown Senior Center, 33 N. Cherry St. on April 8, July 8, and Oct. 14, all beginning at 10 a.m.
