Officials said a car that had three students in it ran a red light at Ash Street and Looney Road shortly after 7 a.m. The car then struck a Piqua City Schools bus.
No one on the bus was injured, and students were transported onto another bus and taken to school.
The crash also involved a van and a pickup truck. At least three people were injured and taken to a local hospital.
FIRST REPORT
A car crashed into a school bus in Piqua Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Looney Road and Ash Street. A witness to the crash said a truck ran a red light, crashed into a blue car, and the blue car then crashed into the school bus.
Initial reports indicate no one on the bus was injured, but injuries have been reported from the other vehicles involved.
