Garbig said that the Ford truck appeared to have been traveling too fast on the winding roads and went off the right side of the road before rolling, ejecting him from the truck.
Alcohol also likely played a part, he said, though the crash was still under investigation.
When asked if there was any message he would like to offer to drivers, Garbig said, “Don’t drink and drive. Always have a safe driver.” He added that we are in farming season, and that drivers should stay aware of all environmental factors.
