When officers responded around 11 a.m. to the apartment, Crank ran back inside. Police eventually were able to talk him out by communicating through a window, police said.

There also were several young children inside the unit when police responded.

It’s unclear what Crank’s warrants were for. He is now being held in the Kettering Jail.
