Chelsey Coe search continues month after raid of Miamisburg property

A month after a search at a property on Lower Miamisburg Road related to the search for Chelsey Coe, police continue to work to solve the case.

Sgt. Jeff Muncy with Miamisburg police said the department is continuing to sift through the evidence collected on the property in the 500 block of Lower Miamisburg.

Investigators said they have been talking to people almost daily regarding Coe’s case.

Coe has been missing since last September.

Coe’s mother Shula Woodworth said she wants to know what happened to her daughter.

“Of course being a mom I would like closure. I would like to know what happened. but that's not up to me,” Woodworth told News Center 7’s Sean Cudahy.  “It's been an emotional roller coaster. I've felt terrible depression.”

Police do have a person of interest in Coe’s disappearance, however have not identified that person.

Muncy also said no one is being ruled out until they find Coe and know what happened to her.

Muncy was actively working on the case this afternoon he said.

Coe’s mother said she does believe the search at the Lower Miamisburg property has helped police narrow down the case.

“I think they can cross a lot of things off now that they didn't know before,” she said.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Miamisburg police.
