Scattered rain or snow showers develop overnight

Scattered light rain or snow showers are expected to develop after 3 a.m. Any accumulation will remain quite light, less than a ½ inch. A few slick spots will be possible for the morning commute, mainly on bridges and overpasses, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will fall to near or slightly below freezing by daybreak before rising.

DETAILED FORECAST

Wednesday: Expect a few rain or snow showers early before 10 a.m. with occasional rain showers through the afternoon. Temperatures will rebound back into the middle 50s by late in the day. It will become breezy at times.

Thursday: A milder day is in the forecast with breezy conditions. Occasional showers are expected with highs climbing into the middle 60s.

Friday: Showers will be around to start the day with some improvement in the afternoon as some breaks in the clouds develop. It will remain breezy with highs in the lower 60s.

Saturday: A few peaks of sun are possible early before showers develop again in the afternoon. It will be mild with highs in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Gusty winds will develop in the afternoon and pump up temperatures well above normal, to near 70 degrees. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with passing showers.
