She replaced Nathan Cahall, who left his position as economic development administrator to take the administrator position in Plain City.

“Being a part of the Centerville team has been an incredible opportunity, and it was not an easy decision to leave. I have enjoyed every single day in this position and will always be grateful for my time here,” Christmann wrote in her letter of resignation to the city manager.
Christmann said she enjoyed working for the city.
“The environment you have created is collaborative, welcoming and one focused on creative solutions and positive changes. This is the type of environment that high performers crave and thrive,” she said.

City Manager Wayne Davis said officials are “happy for Holly and our friends in Hamilton County.”
“In nine months Holly has impacted our economic development offices with her personality, her poise and her professionalism,” Davis said. “She will have a similar impact in her return to Hamilton County and will always be a part of the Centerville community.”
He said that hiring and working with quality, driven people and helping them develop always comes with a risk of them moving on to higher level positions.
Davis said the city is already interviewing candidates to fill the position. Christmann will work with her replacement before she leaves in early June to make the transition as seamless as possible he added.
