Friday morning started with steady rain, wet streets and falling temperatures. Temperatures dropped as rain transitioned to snow by mid-afternoon.
The snow will likely tapering to flurries after midnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Total snow accumulation is expected to be around 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts closer to the I-71 corridor. Gusty winds will create blowing and drifting overnight, he said. Temperatures will drop into the lower teens by Saturday morning.
Clouds will linger with a chance for flurries on Saturday. Highs will hold in the upper teens with wind chills near zero.
