Today will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers and storms beginning at noon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Temperatures will rise to around 83 degrees.
We will continue to have a chance of showers overnight, with temperatures falling to around 66 degrees.
That chance of showers will continue into tomorrow morning, with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m. Otherwise, we will see partly sunny skies with a high near 84 degrees. Overnight Thursday, there will still be a chance of showers and storms, with mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature of around 67 degrees.
On Friday, the chance for showers will rise during the morning, with the added possibility of thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Temperatures will be near 80 degrees. The rain is expected to taper off overnight, for mostly clear skies on the weekend. Temperatures will fall overnight to around 56 degrees.
