New Year's Eve: It will be cold, with temperatures dropping to near 30 degrees by midnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said. A stray flurry or sprinkle can't be ruled out but most stay dry. Winds will taper somewhat but will still feel some gusts up to 20 mph at times, mainly along and north of Interstate 70. Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s overnight with a slight breeze giving wind chills in the lower 20s and teens for the northern areas.

New Year's Day: A quiet start to 2020 is expected with chilly conditions and cloudy skies in the morning. Sunshine returns late morning and into the afternoon with highs near 40 degrees.

Thursday: Above-normal temperatures are expected with highs in the upper 40s. Clouds will thicken and rain showers return late in the afternoon into the evening.
Friday: Rounds of rain showers and breezy conditions arrive through the day with highs well above normal in the middle 50s.

Saturday: Expect gusty winds through the day. Rain returns in the afternoon hours and transitions to light snow in the evening. Highs reach around 40 degrees and then fall.
Sunday: Cloudy skies start the day with a few lingering flurries possible. Gradual sunshine returns for the afternoon. It will be breezy with highs staying in the lower 40s.
